Tennis

We only stock string that we have personaly tested and that have scored high on playtest ranking on Racketpedia, TW University.
If we dont have a specific string, there are thousands, we can normaly get them withing 24 to 48 hours.

Quick note on each type of strings without going down a rabbit hole. There are 3 factors you need to be aware of. You can have all 3. Durability, Playability, Comfort.

Polyester strings job is Durability. Thats it. Its very strong and hard to break and if your strong enough, with good technique you can hit as hard as you like without fear. To get the best from the string you need to be able to deform the string. They are not good for beginners or juniors as they transfer a lot of stress to the joints. Some Polyester strings are much harder on the body that others and create no power. If your a cronic string breaker we have some of the highest rated Poly and Co-poly strings ever rated (Genesis Black Magick and Hexa Infinate).
Polyester strings also come in shaped variants aimed at producing more spin.

Multifillaments/ Natural Gut.
Babolat started making string in the 1870's and their original stings ancestor is still with us, VS Touch. Its the King of Strings. Its buttery soft and has lots of power, feel and comfort. It takes 2 days to make a set of strings from sheep intestines (yes you read that right, hence Gut). Most pros play with natural Gut as a hybrid in either the mains or cross strings. The downside is they are expencive and their not great in wet weather as they are effectively dehydrated leather. But they play perfectly right till they break unlike suththetics, and are so comfortable.
Synthetic Multifilaments, attempt to mimick Natural Gut. And they are close. They have the same-ish feel and amount of power, are about the same durability wise and are fine in wet weather conditions but their playability is significantly less than Natural Gut.
If your not a cronic string breaker, these are probably the better fit for your game, especialy if your a beginner/intermediate or a junior. When recovering from shoulder and elbow surgery and injury I used VS and MLT while coaching to allow me to play and heal.

Hybrids.
I play with Genesis Black Magic mains and VS gut cross. I get teh durability and the no fear of hitting and breaking the mains because they are poly and I have the power and feel from the natural gut on softer shots. A lot of Pro's have this setup the other way round. Mains are natural Gut and crosses are Poly. Federer/Duokovic etc.

So yes you can mix and match. Some Pros are even mixing Polyesters. Thicker on the mains and thinner on the crosses. Or Poly mauins and Co-poly cross.

One thing not ever discussed is tension. I find most amateurs have their rackets strung way too high. Especialy Polys. Even Pros are dropping the tensiondown from 5 years ago. Ave is 22.5Kg as opposed to 25kg 5 years ago.
Multifilaments need to be strung higher. They are much more elastic. 25-28Kg is the Ave.

Note to parents. Talk to me about ways of cutting stringing costs before you go to Poly's as the cost of a physio is way higher. (White Magic or Armor are solid options)
